PC Installation Service Includes:
Basic Setup:
- Your computer will be unpacked from its shipping
box and Taylor5 will ensure everything you have ordered has arrived.
- Taylor5 will set up and connect the keyboard, one
monitor, speakers, mouse, and modem phone cable/Ethernet cable (if
applicable) to desktop or notebook.
- Taylor5 will power on your new computer and make
sure it loads the operating system login screen.

Internet Service Provider (ISP) Connection:
- For new dial-up ISPs, Taylor5 will then run the
supplied ISP configuration software and setup the ISP you have selected.
- For existing broadband connections, connectivity
to the Internet will be ensured.
- Taylor5 will verify that the Internet connection
is working properly and will set up and activate one email account.

External Device Connection:
- You may have as many as three additional
devices (e.g., printer, scanner, fax, PDA, digital cameras, etc.) set-up
to a single system. You are required to provide all necessary cables and
device drivers.
- This service includes unpacking, connecting
devices to the appropriate ports on your system and loading manufacturer
or customer provided device drivers.
- Taylor5 will then test your devices for proper
operation.
- If you are installing external devices other than
Windows® Standard drivers or those not provided by your manufacturer,
please provide legally licensed copies of the device drivers or
specialized software required for installation

Customer Orientation: (20 minutes)
- A basic orientation session is offered to help
you locate major computer components including:
- On/Off
switch
- Reset
button
- CD/DVD
identification and operation
- Monitor
controls
- Basic
keyboard layout
- Mouse
controls
- Ports in
back of system (parallel, serial, USB, video, mouse, etc.)
- Chassis
screws location

- Basic
navigation around desktop, including desktop icon tour
- Opening
and closing Windows
- Starting
application from Start Menu - XP tour
- Shutting
down and restarting System

- Internet and email orientation:
- ISP

Customer Responsibilities Include:
- Make sure the furniture at the site is spacious
enough to accommodate your new equipment.
- Make certain your computer and all items
necessary for installation, such as cables, telephone cord/Ethernet cable,
and power cords are easily accessible to Taylor5.
For ISP Connections
- Review ISP options that accompany your system and
provide your selection to Taylor5
- Supply an accessible phone jack and phone cord,
modem or DSL/cable lines for existing broadband ISP
- If you chose to utilize and ISP other than a
pre-loaded ISP, make sure to supply the set-up software and configuration
information such as TCP/IP addresses, mail server names, passwords and
account information to Taylor5. You are responsible for any communication,
charges, and account set up fees from the ISP
- When establishing your ISP service, you will be
asked for your credit card information. You are responsible for
safeguarding the confidentiality of this information

PC Home Installation Service Does NOT Include:
- Connecting new broadband (cable/DSL) service and
configuring internet service.
- Re-install or repairs to your system or other
equipment.
- Connecting and configuring wireless network.
- Relocating, removal, or storage of old computer from your home
- Network-related problems or any service related
to your system’s operation on a network
- Moving or rearranging furniture
- Supplying operating system software, cables or
other installation items
- Additional visits unless more than one visit is
purchased
- File Transfer services unless purchased (see PC
Installation and File Transfer Service)

PC Installation with File Transfer Includes:
- In addition to the services outlined above,Taylor5 will load up to two licensed applications
(e.g. Quicken) on to your new computer. You are required to provide the
original disks/CD for the application and to ensure application is
compatible with the new operating system.
- Taylor5 will transfer up to 1 Gigabyte of data
and files (not applications) from your old computer to your new system.
- Taylor5 will transfer settings including Internet
browser bookmarks, folder structure for transferred files and
customizations, settings and preferences for most popular applications.

Customer Responsibilities For File Transfer Include:
- Your old PC must utilize Microsoft®
Windows® 98 or later
- Ensure that your old computer is functioning and
located within four feet of the installation area
- Make certain you have at least 30MB of available
hard drive space on your old computer to accommodate the data transfer
- Ensure your old PC has a working CD-ROM drive and
USB or network port
- Ensure that there is sufficient space and power
to accommodate both systems during File Transfer
- Ensure that the original application software is
compatible with your new PC Operating System and the original disks/CDs
are available

Important: If any items required for installation are not
available at the time of the service visit, Taylor5 will install as much of the
system as possible.
